Surveillance Technology-Hazuki Mikami

    I think that surveillance technology have good aspects and bad aspects. So, I can't completely decide it is good or bad. I'll show you the example of them. 

    First, one of good aspects is that we can live safely. Thanks to the technology like CCTV cameras or facial recognition, police can get information to arrest criminals. This result in decreasing of crimes and making the city safe.

    Then, one of bad aspects is that our plivacy is invaded. We are always watched by someone. Someone know what we bought, where we go, when we come back home or somrthing like that. It is strange, isn' it? 

    That is to say, we can take their benefits by keeping the aspects in our minds.

    I think our lives is filled with surveillance and we always looking at the only merits. So I also think it is really important to take their benefits by keeping the aspects in our mind. From now on I want to focus on both merits and demerit.

    I agree with your opinion. Surveillance technology such as CCTV cameras will be helpful to decrease crime, but it also invades our privacy.

    I agree with you. Surveillance technology has both good points and bad points, so it is difficult for us to decide whether we should use these technology.

    I think every technology has good side and bad side so we should male much of their advantages. I think many people have the same feeling and we have to handle with such strange circumstance.

I think we should not open up natural areas to tourism to protect the nature.  First of all, I want to share my opinion about tourism and nature conservation. The tourists who do not pay respect to the nature and who do not know how much money and time were used to protect these natures are one of the biggest reasons of despoiling and harming the area. We have to stop them to behave like that, or close up the area to protect the nature and stop tourist coming. Sustainable tourism is impossible with these unacceptable acts by tourists. There is a good example in Japan. Arashiyama in Kyoto is good place to see beautiful bamboo grove and it was famous for sightseeing. Therefore, a lot of foreign tourists were coming there and enjoy the view of Arashiyama bamboo grove. However, in 2018, manager of this bamboo grove found some scratches to the bamboo.   I think that pristine natural areas basically shouldn't be opened up to tourism because tourism can destroy such precious nature easily. They have grown over tremendous years. However, espoiling them is much easier than growing up. It means that once pristine natural areas are despoiled, it can be said those are no longer recoverable. It's suck, isn't it? On the other hand, I believe that people can learn a lot of things from precious nature. They can learn how it's important to protect the nature. I think there's a perfect solution to improve both the nature and tourism. Only guided tours should be allowed into the areas. I believe it can make sustainable tourism happen.
