Market Day Debrief - Haisu Wang
Today is quite a sunny day, adding to the market a relaxing and cheerful vibe. Many students were present. Even though I arrived at the marketplace about to its end, it was still lively.
The Corn-hole game made a hit with crowds, which was the only stall in a long queue, and everyone seemed eager to try their luck. So when I was exploring the event, I thought that it would be even better if more stalls allowed for interaction and participation next time. Perhaps more food stalls selling a wider range of cuisine worldwide would be another great addition.
Moreover, the event was an excellent opportunity for students to sell their second-hand clothes to promote an eco-friendly way of living, which I'm always passionate about.
Last but not least, it was a great platform for students to showcase their designs and hand-make jewelry, giving newcomers an insight into the fashion trends among NZ youngsters while making the market day a creative and artistic day.
You enjoyed the market a lot! The Corn-hole game sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI found your opinion interesting! It is interesting for me that the market is a great platform for students to show their designs, because in Japan, we scarcely go to the market.
ReplyDeleteI also think more food stalls would be another great, and if i have a chance to go there, I want to go.
ReplyDeleteEven though I couldn't go to the market yesterday, your blog made me feel like I'm at the market. Also I like your suggestion like selling worldwide cuisines!
ReplyDeleteI thought that handmade accessories are good because they are so thoughtful.
