Market Day Debrief - Sakura Iyama
The market day event was very interesting for me. It is because there were many kinds of shops. I think the best part of this market was the clothes shop. Particularly, the second hand shop. I found Harley Davidson t-shirts, I wondered if I should buy the t-shirt. However, I realized that this is impulse buying. I did not want to waste my money, therefore, I gave up on buying the t-shirt.
Then, I found an accessory store. There were many pieces that tempted me to buy, but I also did not want to waste my money, therefore I did not buy them.
Next, I found the interesting clothes shop, there was a cap which was written “てのひらあ”, which means that “Palmah”, it can make Japanese laugh.
In conclusion, it was a good opportunity to endure impulse buying. Many New Zealanders are kind, and Otago University students' culture is fascinating to me. There is no market day in Japan. I want to share this kind of culture with Japanese people.
This is the cap that I thought really interesting.
You noticed the impulse buying! You are good saver :D
ReplyDeleteI saw the same cap in there. The Japanese word is quite strange but really pretty, so I love it!haha
ReplyDeleteThe snoopy cap is really cute!!!! If I noticed it, I would like to buy it definitely, but I didn't. :(((
ReplyDeleteInteresting pictures! It was good to hear that you could keep your wallet close. There are sometimes when you need impulse purchases though hehe
ReplyDeleteThe てのひらあ cap was so funny lol.
