Surveillance Technology - Toey Chanisara Kruakaew

 I think surveillance technology is an innovation and now a days about the security it develop a lot. For CCTV it can be advantage and disadvantage. Advantage is when anything bad happen for example get rob or stolen you can ask to open the CCTV to look who is the person and the police can arrest them. But for disadvantage is there are no privacy in your life you will feel like someone look at you all the time. Facial recognition I think it is very expert technology that have been develop it make easily to catch the criminal. Microchips in the product I don't mind about it. And next number plate recognitionI think there are advantage more than disadvantage. For example advantage if anything or accident happen on the road it quite sensible and also can clock what people doing. Lastly the benefit of various of technology is can catch criminal easily and good for safety but there are also danger from technology aboit personal information might be taken so you have to be careful.

    I agree with you. Every technology has advantage and disadvantage, but we have to make the most of their advantages. I also don't mind the microchips which are in the products.

    I agree with you. I think the number of criminals have decreased thanks to the CCTV camera, so now we cannot live city safely without CCTV camera. CCTV has also demerit such as invasion privacy, but we have to face the problem to make our lives much safer.

   I think that the advantage and disadvantage of surveillance technology is the debatable problem. In my opinion, the technology of the CCTV camera makes our life much safer. If there was no CCTV camera around the city, there might be a lot of crimes. For example, in the supermarket, it could be much easier to stole the stuffs. In case of on the street at night, the possibility of happened to meet suspicious person would be rise.   I think surveillance technology is necessary for our safety. However, it can be dangerous thing.  That technology is very useful to prevent crime and keep cities safe. In fact, there are so many CCTV cameras all over my country. And I have never been involved in crime. That tells us thanks to them, we can live more peacefully. However, some of them make me uncomfortable. For example, when I realize that someone is watching my movement, shopping habits and myself, I feel scared even if I don’t have nothing to hide. In other words, I worry that someone can identify me if my personal information is leaked.  In short, surveillance technology is important, but I feel that our privacy may be invaded.

   Today's market was fun because there were a lot of shops. I saw accessory shops and clothes shops and tried a game, too.  It was the most interesting that many of the accessories were made by people. Both of the students and the sellers seemed to enjoy the market.  I felt this market was one of the interesting cultures for the students and the local people in New Zealand.
